All Ages paint for $25 on a 12×16 canvas. The event will be held under the tent on Hale St and is limited to 12 participants. Tables are set up 6 feet apart and families will be seated together (3-5 per table). Otherwise, individuals will be social distanced from others sitting at their table (limited to 3 in these cases).
Includes all paint supplies, 12×16 canvas, and plastic disposable apron. Step by step instructions taught by a qualified art instructor. No experience necessary. NO ADDITIONAL COUPONS OR DISCOUNTS ACCEPTED FOR THIS EVENT.
Check-In at 1:00pm, Paint Session begins promptly at 1:15pm, Event Concludes by 3:00pm
Location: Creative Arts and BYOB studio located at 122 N. Hale St in beautiful historic downtown Wheaton. Until further notice, all events are held outside on Hale St under the tent.
Parking: Parking garage is available behind the studio. Heading North on Hale (one-way street), turn left (west) onto Wesley, go 1/2 block and turn into alley on the left. Parking garage is on the right. We request you enter the studio through the front entrance on Hale. For busy nights, you may use the complimentary Valet parking in front of The Ivy (please tip your valet).
Clothing: We use non-toxic acrylic, water soluble paint and do provide aprons, but suggest guests wear casual and comfortable clothes, as well as a short sleeve or 3/4 length sleeve top. While the paint will wash off of your hands, it is not always easy to get out of clothing. Sometimes clear-colored hand sanitizer works, or rubbing alcohol. We do keep these items on hand. The Sipping Muse is not responsible for any paint spills on guests personal belongings while in the studio.
Beverages & Snacks: The Sipping Muse is a BYOB studio and you can bring in any type of beverages and food. However, due to the COVID-19, the studio will not provide any cups, paper products, barware, etc. Please bring your own party supplies.
Alcohol: Must be 21 years old to consume alcoholic beverages at the studio. We card all guests, please have ID available. We asks that guests under 18 be accompanied by an adult.
Cancellations: If you cancel 48 hours prior to event, you will receive a refund (less processing fees). If cancelled within 12-48 hours of the event, you will receive a credit for a future event. “No-Shows” and cancellations within 12 hours of the event will not receive any refund or credit. To cancel, you must send email to firstname.lastname@example.org in order for the cancellation to be processed.

The Sipping Muse remains committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our customers and employees in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. More details on how we are addressing this commitment are outlined below.
Staff: upon arrival all employees will use hand-sanitizer, put on face mask and gloves. Their temperature will be taken and confirmation they are not experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, nor does anyone they have any contact with has symptoms. They will maintain social distancing when possible, and wash their hands/use sanitizer often. Staff will wear gloves and mask around customers. The art instructor will remove mask while teaching, but will put it on when approaching customers.
Customers: customers will be limited to entering the studio until we enter Phase 4 of the Governor’s plan. They should wear face masks until seated. They do not need to wear masks while painting, but should keep them handy. Hand sanitizer is available and customers are encouraged to use it often. Hand wipes will also be available to wash off paint from hands. For customers who need to enter the studio, they must wear a face mask and clean hands with hand sanitizer. Temperatures will be checked (touchless infrared thermometer) and questions asked about symptoms or potential exposure to COVID-19. We ask that customers limit touching anything in studio. The restroom is down the right side of studio, at end of hallway. Door to back area will be left opened. NOTE: If a customer is interested in looking through our art for sale, we ask for them to use hand sanitizer before touching the paintings.
Cleaning Protocols: Daily all frequently touched surfaces inside the studio (doors, handles, light switches, trash containers, etc) will be wiped down with disinfectant. IPad, phone, printer, laptop will be disinfected. Front desk and office supplies will also be wiped down. Employees will wear masks and gloves while doing the cleaning. After each use of the thermometer, it will be cleaned with an alcohol wipe. If customer is paying in-store, iPad will be wiped down before and after each use.
Once customers are finished painting, employees will wear gloves and makes. The table, chairs, easels will be wiped down with antibacterial cleaner. Cups, paper towel, plates and aprons will be discarded. Paint brushes will be put into a bucket of water with disinfectant and washed at the end of the day with hot soapy water.
Bathrooms are professionally cleaned weekly. At the end of each shift, all surfaces will be wiped down with disinfectant – door, handle, sink, faucet, hand dryer, trash can, door stalls/handles, toilet seat, toilet handle, toilet paper holder.
