Paint Fee is $15 per child. Includes all paint supplies, 12 x 16 canvas, and apron. Step by step instructions taught by a qualified art instructor. No experience necessary. Adult supervision required for children parties. No coupons accepted for children’s parties.
Doors Open at 1:30pm, Paint Session begins promptly at 1:45pm, Event Concludes by 3:30pm (Paint session start time flexible based upon your activities)
Location: Creative arts and BYOB studio located at 122 N. Hale St in Historic downtown Wheaton.
Parking: Parking garage is available behind the studio. Heading North on Hale (one-way street), turn left (West) onto Wesley, go 1/2 block and turn into alley on the left. Parking garage is on the right. We request you enter the studio through the front entrance on Hale.
Beverages & Snacks: The Sipping Muse is a BYOB studio and you can bring in any type of beverages and food, as well as a celebration cake. Beverage cups, paper plates/napkins/serving utensils are provided for snacks. Ice buckets/tubs also available, bring your own ice. Water and soft drinks can be purchased for $1.00.
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit equal to two paint fees ($30) is required and due by (1/12/19). The deposit is non-refundable since we reserve space at the studio for your group. The deposit will cover 2 people at your party. If you need to reschedule your event, a 7-day notice must be provided and the deposit will be credited for a future event. If 7 days noticed is not provided, deposit is forfeited. Please contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org to cancel or reschedule your event.
Minimum Paint Fee Requirement: There is a minimum requirement of 8 painters, if actual attendance falls below 8, you will still be responsible for paying the minimum of 8 fees.
Balance of Paint Fees: The balance based on the actual # of painters is due the day of the event.
Cancellations for paint fees (if applicable): For cancellations more than 48 hrs prior to event, a complete refund can be issued upon request (processed within 5-7 business days) or a credit given toward a future event. If cancellation is within 12-48 hrs of an event, a credit will be issued for a future event. Cancellations within 12 hours of event, or “no shows”, will receive no credit or no refund. Bad Weather Policy: The Sipping Muse will notify customers (via the email address submitted at time of registration) IF a class will be cancelled at least 2 hrs in advance. Please check SPAM email on bad weather days. If we cancel the class, you will receive a credit for a future event. If you don't hear from us, the event is not cancelled and we are expecting customers to attend class. However, if you feel you cannot attend because of the weather you MUST EMAIL us at least 1 hour before the event is scheduled to begin. NO PHONE CALLS. Upon receiving your email, we will issue you a credit for a future event. If you do not email us at least 1 hour in advance, you will not receive refund or credit. Dismiss
