Party of 10, Whittier Elementary Signature Event Fundraiser. Painting “TBD”
Paint Fee is $40 per person, with a minimum requirement of 10 people. Includes all paint supplies, 16×20 canvas, and apron. Step by step instructions taught by a qualified art instructor. No experience necessary. No coupons accepted for private parties.
Check in at 7:00pm, Paint Session begins 7:15pm, Event Concludes by 10:00pm. Paint session start time is flexible based upon your activites (snack/food, beverages, socializing). Host can come in 30 minutes early to set up for the party.
Location: Creative arts and BYOB studio located at 122 N. Hale St in Historic downtown Wheaton.
Parking: Parking garage is available behind the studio. Heading North on Hale (one-way street), turn left (West) onto Wesley, go 1/2 block and turn into alley on the left. Parking garage is on the right. We request you enter the studio through the front entrance on Hale.
Beverages & Snacks: The Sipping Muse is a BYOB studio and you can bring in any type of beverages and food, as well as a celebration cake. Generic beverage cups, paper plates/napkins/serving utensils are provided for snacks. However, you can bring in your own themed products. Ice buckets/tubs also available, bring your own ice. Water and soft drinks can be purchased for $1.00.
Clothing: We use non-toxic acrylic, water soluble paint and do provide aprons, but suggest guests wear casual and comfortable clothes, as well as a short sleeve or 3/4 length sleeve top. While the paint will wash off of your hands, it is not always easy to get out of clothing. Sometimes clear-colored hand sanitizer works, or rubbing alcohol. We do keep these items on hand. The Sipping Muse is not responsible for any paint spills on guests personal belongings while in the studio.
Deposit: Deposit of $80 plus $320 fee per voucher code 1488 should be applied upon registration. Part of the deposit is non-refundable ($80) since we reserve space at the studio for your group. The total of $400 will be deducted from total fee the day of the event. If you need to reschedule your event, a 7-day notice must be provided and the deposit will be credited for a future event.
Minimum Paint Fee Requirement: There is a minimum requirement of 10 painters, if actual attendance falls below 10, you will still be responsible for paying the minimum of 10 fees. NOTE: additional guests over 10 are welcomed to join you, at a fee of $40 per person.
Balance of Paint Fees: If applicable, host can pay the balance of the fee the day of the event..
Cancellations for pre-paid paint fees, if applicable (not including $80 deposit): For cancellations more than 12 hrs prior to event, a credit can be given toward a future event. Cancellations within 12 hours of event, or “no shows”, will receive no credit or no refund. Please contact us via email at email@example.com to cancel or reschedule your reservation.
