Featured Painting is Cozy Cabin.
Paint Fee is $36 per person. Includes all paint supplies, 16 x 20 canvas, and apron. Step by step instructions taught by a qualified art instructor. No experience necessary.
Doors Open at 3:00pm, Paint Session begins promptly at 3:15pm, Event Concludes by 6:00pm
Location: Creative arts and BYOB studio located at 122 N. Hale St in Historic downtown Wheaton.
Parking: Parking garage is available behind the studio. Heading North on Hale (one-way street), turn left (West) onto Wesley, go 1/2 block and turn into alley on the left. Parking garage is on the right. We request you enter the studio through the front entrance on Hale.
Beverages & Snacks: The Sipping Muse is a BYOB studio and you can bring in any type of beverages and food. Wine/bottle openers available and beverage cups provided. Paper plates/napkins/utensils are provided for snacks. Ice buckets/tubs also available, bring your own ice. Water and soft drinks can be purchased for $1.00.
Alcohol: Must be 21 years old to consume alcoholic beverages at the studio. We card all guests, please have ID available. We ask that guests under 18 be accompanied by an adult.
Attire: We use water soluble, non-toxic acrylic paints and provide bib aprons for our guests to wear. The paint washes off of hard surfaces and hands, however may not come out of clothing. Please inform guests to dress accordingly.
Minimum Requirement: We have an 8 person minimum requirement for private parties. If fewer than 8 people are in attendance, you are still required to pay for 8 paint fees..
Balance of Paint Fees: Note: original balance has been forfeited due to late cancellation notice. The total fee based on the actual # of painters is due the day of the event.
Cancellations for paint fees (not deposit): For cancellations more than 48 hrs prior to event, a complete refund can be issued upon request (processed within 5-7 business days) or a credit given toward a future event. If cancellation is between 12-48 hrs of an event, a credit will be issued for a future event. Cancellations within 12 hours of event, or “no shows”, will receive no credit or no refund. Bad Weather Policy: The Sipping Muse will notify customers (via the email address submitted at time of registration) IF a class will be cancelled at least 2 hrs in advance. Please check SPAM email on bad weather days. If we cancel the class, you will receive a credit for a future event. If you don't hear from us, the event is not cancelled and we are expecting customers to attend class. However, if you feel you cannot attend because of the weather you MUST EMAIL us at least 1 hour before the event is scheduled to begin. NO PHONE CALLS. Upon receiving your email, we will issue you a credit for a future event. If you do not email us at least 1 hour in advance, you will not receive refund or credit. Dismiss
